Excavator Services
Excavator work for property cleanup, digging, shaping, access, clearing, and other land improvement projects.
The right tool for the job
Some jobs call for a mulcher. Some call for a dozer. And some call for an excavator — for the reach, the dig depth, and the precision to put dirt and material exactly where it needs to go.
From small property cleanups to bigger reshaping and access projects, we'll walk the job with you and tell you straight what it'll take. Trenching, ponds, demolition, stump removal — Middle Georgia property owners use us for the work nobody else wants to touch.
Excavator work pairs naturally with land clearing (for stumps and root balls), grading and dirt work (for ponds and trenching), and site prep (for footings and utility trenches). One crew handles all of it.

Common uses
Property Cleanup
Removing stumps, debris, old structures, and overgrowth that's been in the way for years.

Cutting trails, roads, and access lanes into hard-to-reach parts of your property.
Clearing Assist
Excavator paired with the mulcher and dozer for heavier clearing jobs.
Pond & Water Work
Pond cleanouts, dam repair, and shoreline work where the excavator earns its keep.
How an excavator job runs
1. Walk the Job
Owner walks the site, looks at access, dig depth, what's getting moved, and where the spoil goes.
2. Written Quote
Fixed-price estimate in writing covering the dig, the haul, and any backfill or finish work.
3. Dig & Move
Right size excavator on site, work cleanly, and protect the rest of the property while we're at it.
4. Backfill & Walk
Backfill where the spec calls for it, clean up the site, and walk it with you before we leave.
The machines we run
Compact Excavator
Tight access, residential lots, and jobs that need to fit through a gate without taking the fence down.
Mid-Size Excavator
Stumps, ponds, ditching, and bigger digs where you need more reach and bucket size.
Skid Steer Pairing
Material handling and grading alongside the excavator on bigger jobs.
Hauling
Trucks to bring in fill or haul off spoil, debris, and stumps when the job calls for it.
Excavator work on Middle Georgia land
Middle Georgia is full of property that's been waiting on the right excavator for years — old farm ponds that need a cleanout, mobile home pads that need to come up, fallen outbuildings, stumps from a storm, ditches that have silted in. We get calls for all of it across Upson, Pike, Lamar, Crawford, and Monroe counties.
We bring the size machine that fits your job — compact when access is tight, mid-size when there's real digging to do. And because the owner is state-certified in erosion control, pond work and creek-side jobs get handled properly, not just dug up and left.

Excavator service questions
What kind of jobs do you use an excavator for?
+
Digging footings and trenches, removing stumps and root balls, pond cleanouts and dam work, demolition, access road cuts, ditch and drainage work, and bulk earth moving — pretty much any job that needs reach, dig depth, and precision.
How much does excavator work cost per hour or per day?
+
We prefer to quote a fixed written price for the job rather than open-ended hourly, so you know up front what you're paying. For small odd jobs we'll sometimes quote a day rate after walking the site.
Can you remove a big stump or a row of stumps?
+
Yes. Excavator and chain or bucket attack on the root ball, pull it out clean, and pile, burn, bury, or haul it depending on what works for the property and your budget.
Do you do pond cleanouts and dam repair?
+
Yes. Pond cleanouts, silt removal, spillway repair, dam shaping, and shoreline work. Owner is state-certified in erosion and sediment control, which matters anytime you're working in or near water.
Can you do small demolition — old shed, fallen barn, mobile home pad?
+
Yes, on most light demolition. We knock it down with the excavator, separate metal from wood, and haul or burn the debris depending on local rules and your preference.
Will you trench for water, septic, or electric?
+
We dig the trench to the depth your plumber or electrician needs. We're not the licensed installer for those utilities, but we work alongside whoever is and have the trench ready when they show up.
How big of an excavator do you run?
+
We run multiple sizes — from compact excavators that get into tight residential lots to mid-size machines for ponds, stumps, and bigger digs. We bring the size that fits your job.
